Speaking of Kids provides private individualized speech and language services for children of all ages. Michelle loves working with kids and families to help facilitate better communication! She has been a practicing speech and language pathologist in the school setting for over 15 years. We are conveniently located with a home office in Farmington, Utah.

Why Private Speech Therapy?

one-On-one Attention
Our schools do a great job with speech therapy services! In most cases though, kids are grouped together and sessions may not be as personalized. Private speech therapy can offer more support and consistency.

look at the whole child
We provide early intervention services and specialized therapy for children with speech sound disorders, developmental langugage delays, fluency disorders, reading comprehension, and more. We have the luxury of more prep time to cater to the child's specific needs.

Parent Involvement & Education
Michelle makes it a priority to educate, involve, and empower parents. You are the expert when it comes to your child! Parent participation allows for practice helping, modeling, and cueing the child with helpful strategies at home, which results in faster progress!

Our Services

Summer speech camp
If your child currently has an IEP (Individualized Education Program) through their school, Michelle is happy to provide continuity of services through the summer to prevent summer slide and even facilitate better progress. You can commit to 6-8 weeks with no obligation to continue when school starts again.
Early and efficient intervention
Our goal is to get your child help and support as soon as possible. Don't 'wait and see', let us help you decide what your child needs and how you can help them now. We can get started right away and there is no time commitment required.
